Infotriever Overview for Executives and Mobile Professionals

What Is Infotriever?

Infotriever is a web service that delivers and updates events and contacts from Infotriever-enabled partner companies into personal desktop organizers such as Microsoft Outlook, Lotus Notes, Palm OS, and others, and through your sync solution, into any Palm, Windows CE or Blackberry PDA.  In order to provide this service, we require a small desktop client software application to be installed on your desktop.  This software may be installed from our website, any of our partner sites, or deployed by your company's system administrator using the Infotriever SysAdmin installer.

How does Infotriever make money?

We license our software and service to Infotriever-enabled partner companies who wish to deliver events and contacts to their customers and/or users.  The Infotriever desktop client software is provided at no charge.  There is the possibility in future that we may introduce premium services for users, however the desktop client software will still be free and the premium services will be strictly optional.

Who is Infotriever designed for?

Infotriever is designed and ideally suited for:

• Mobile professionals;
• Frequent flyers;
• Executives;
• Executive Assistants;
• Travel Arrangers.

Can my executive assistant use Infotriever for me?

We have a special feature designed specifically for busy executives and executive assistants (and travel arrangers). It's called ExecAssist™ and it enables your executive assistant to deliver your events and contacts into your organizer for you.

How does Infotriever protect my privacy?

Our business depends on protecting user privacy.  Our privacy policy is TRUSTe-certified, and we are a member in good standing of BBBOnline.  We have never, and will never, share or sell personal information without user consent (with the usual exception for legal requirements).  Furthermore, we don't spam (how many emails have you seen from Infotriever?), and we contain no spyware of any form.  For more information, please review our privacy policy or email us at privacy@infotriever.com.

How secure is Infotriever?

Infotriever is about as secure as anything any of us can reasonably expect on the Internet.  Specifically, we use 128-bit encryption and an MD5 hashing algorithm.  We have hundreds of thousands of users in thousands of companies worldwide, including such security-conscious organizations as some of the most reputable investment banks and the U.S. military.

Where can I use Infotriever?

You can use Infotriever at any of these Infotriever-enabled partners sites and companies, although the specific application may vary (feel free to contact us to find out how you can use Infotriever at any given partner).

How can I get a company or website I visit to use Infotriever?

Infotriever is a customer service enhancement that most people would say makes their lives easier (our user surveys have shown that 90% of users have a very high or high level of overall satisfaction, and 96% prefer to use a service that uses Infotriever). In fact, we like to think of Infotriever as a standard of excellence in Internet customer service. However, as compelling as these results may be, we have found that companies really respond best to their own (existing) customers. If you want to see a website or company using Infotriever, our best recommendation is to contact them (typically through an email address such as feedback@companyname.com) and let them know. How can I get our company to use Infotriever?

We can provide your system administrator with a SysAdmin installer which will enable him/her to certify the Infotriever desktop software and deploy it to an unlimited number of users within your company.
