We take security very seriously. Infotriever has implemented the following technologies, procedures and policies in order to ensure the protection and integrity of information transmitted through the Infotriever service:
Secure Data Transmission
Infotriever delivers data using secure HTTP and 128-bit encryption, the strongest level encryption technology available for Internet communications. Data captured by the end user is protected using the latest version of Secure Socket Layer (SSL).
Strong Client/Server Authentication
Communication between the Infotriever Clients and the Infotriever Communication Server utilizes a mutual authentication protocol with a digital signature to ensure the security of all data. Server-side authentication also ensures that users capture data from trusted sources.
Secure Data Storage
The Infotriever Server stores all data in an Oracle® database using the latest security and access control technologies. Network security Infotriever uses multiple hardware and software firewalls. These firewalls closely regulate the types of packets that move between networks to provide the best protection for the data exchanged between businesses and consumers. All network traffic is monitored 24×7 to prevent malicious attacks on the Infotriever network.
The Infotriever infrastructure is co-located at Q9, one of the most advanced Data Centers in North America. Q9 provides:
- A highly secure physical infrastructure, including the latest in biometric authentication, video surveillance, and round-the-clock security officers;
- Centres engineered to eliminate any single point of failure, with multiple layers of redundancy in power systems, HVAC, and fire detection and suppression;
- All systems monitored 7 x 24 through the Q9 Network Operations Centre (NOC);
- Automatically routed Internet traffic over 30 Internet connectionsaround network outages to ensure web sites co-located with Q9 always has the fastest response times available.
